ABOUT ADAC

ADAC stands for Alcohol and Drug Assessment and Counselling.

Currently ADAC is one of the preferred providers of A&D assessments for the Courts in Wellington, Lower Hutt and Porirua (New Zealand). ADAC also provides AOD assessments for prison inmates applying to the parole board in New Zealand for early release. We accept referrals from the Courts, lawyers and private clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University
• Diploma in Alcohol and Drug Studies
• Certificate in Supervision
• Member of DAPAANZ (NZ Drug & Alcohol Practioners' Association)
• 10 years experience, specialising in clients with alcohol & drug related legal issues
• Author of FLYINGBLIND - How the justice system perpetuates crime and the Corrections Department fails to correct.
  

Denise Nassenstein

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science
• Bachelor of Alcohol & Drug Studies
• Trained in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy
• Member of DAPAANZ
• 12 years experience specialising with dual diagnosis clients who have addictions and co-existing mental health problems.
